・オートキャンプ・・・・・auto camping
・自動車にキャンプ　　　道具などを載せ移動しながら行うキャンプ。そのルーツの一つはアメリカ西部開拓時代のキャラバン（幌馬車隊）。日本では１９８０年代後半から普及し始め、２００２年のオートキャンプ場数は１２９７ヵ所キャンプ道具を車で運ぶため、道具の大型化・多様化が進み、ややもすると道具を使うためのキャンプという傾向がないでもない。オートキャンプの形態には、移動型と定着型がある。移動型は１日あるいは数日キャンプをし、撤収し次のキャンプ地へと移動しながら旅をする。この場合は設営・撤収の回数が多くなるのでコンパクトな道具を使うベテラン向き。定着型は１箇所で何日もキャンプをするもので、ファミリー向きビギナー向きといえる。いずれにしても道具に頼るのではなく、不便さも楽しみとするゆとりのあるキャンプを楽しみたいものである。

In the form of the camping, there are a movement type and an established type. The movement type camps for a day or several days, withdraws, and travels while moving to the following camp ground. In this case, because frequency of construction and withdrawal increases, it is for old-timer who uses compact tool. The established type can be said for the beginner for the family by the one to camp in one place for days how many. Anyway, I want to enjoy the camp with composure that doesn't rely on the tool but assumes the inconvenience to be the enjoyment.
