・こんにちは！カットボール響太郎です！！（教太郎は犬の名前です！）・・・新多角的通商交渉（新ラウンド）
・２００１年１１月にドーハでの世界貿易機関（WTO）で決定された、新しい貿易のルールづくりの交渉。２００２年１月に貿易交渉委員会（TNC）を設立し、交渉を開始。２００４年末までに終結する。今回の新ラウンドは、農業などの市場開放・自由化の促進と、通商ルールの整備・強化が二本柱になっている。日本の課題は、農業分野では守勢、通称ルールの強化では攻勢と両面作戦で臨むようだ。一方、米国は競争力のある農業やサービスの市場開放に関心が高く、通商ルールの強化は望まない方向だ。新ラウンドはウルグアイ・ラウンド以来の包括的通商交渉で、ＷＴＯ新加盟したばかりの中国や台湾も含まれている。
